During the meeting 3 candidates were proposed for advancement 2 of which were a father and son combo!
After the meeting we all retired to the festive board for an excellent meal and atmosphere.
The newly appointed Organist of the Lodge WBro Brian Wilson cranked the volume up to number 11 and gave a rousing rendition of the National Anthem and Absent Brethren which was accompanied by vociferous singing. Some not quite in tune!
VW Bro Stuart Brackstone PGJO responded to the toast to Grand Officers and noted that he had represented at the Lodge 11 years ago and passed around the summons for the meeting which included some of the same names and faces present; although slightly older!

He also thanked the Lodge for their charity donations and outlined the need to keep the trifold booklets in your Craft case to recruit new members. He also thanked the RWPGM Special Rep for the area VW Bro Eric Drinkwater PGJO for all his hard work.

An enjoyable evening was had by all!
